>> A 3rd album from this most original n.y group, its like nothing that you`ve heard before... believe me! a mix up of acustic&electronics, psyche voices, samples&low-fi stuff floating in and out, yet its not a musical "salad" there is a method in this madness.... i was listening one night to their "vogt dig for kloppervok" track on Charlie Gillett`s world music prog. on bbc/radio one and just got seduced by the sheer otherness and bliss of it! rushed out the next day to the record shop and bought their latest cd.... my listening experiance will never be the same again, thank you Charlie Gillett for this discovery! Bless you the books for this priceless trip!

It is a thing of beauty! maybe one of the best albums that i`ve heard all year round, inspired by my bloody valentine`s "loveless" and realizing that there won`t be an album from kevin shields in the near future michael decided to produce it on his own and imported the guitar in his machines (being an electronic musician) and started from this new position to add something to shields work.
Done in two weeks while staying in tokyo he found new guitar sounds in traditional japanese music and in pipa and koto guitar sounds.
A wonderful soundtrack homage to tokyo indeed.
Look for it when its out in mid- feb 06... and you will hear what i mean...
